I have a Linksys E2500 and I have been I have had my router working for 1-2 months now without an issue. I recently connected an xbox one wirelessly and noticed the connection would sometimes drop from EA servers (fifa 14) and I figured it was EA because they are notorious for releasing unfinished games but today I went down to my deskt Dec 24, 2015 · I've searched the password and username for Cisco Linksys E2500 and both user and pass should be admin (no capital) But when I try to do that it still wont log me in. Ive checked my spelling and capitals. And I don't know if SOMEONE changed the password or username. Im not a computer type guy so im a little new to this stuff. It's an older generation router so maybe a newer generation maybe needed to be looked at. There are two (2) ways in resetting the Linksys E2500 to factory defaults: Press and hold the Reset button at the bottom of your router for 10 seconds then release. Log in to the router’s web-based setup page then go to Administration > Factory Defaults > Restore Factory Defaults.
